Seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Political and sexual intrigue abound. The primary families are the Stark, Lannister, and Baratheon families. Robert Baratheon, King of Westeros, asks his old friend Eddard Stark to serve as his chief advisor. Eddard, suspecting that his predecessor had been murdered, accepts so that he can investigate further. It turns out more than one family is plotting to take the throne. The Queen's family, the Lannisters, may be hatching a plot to take control. Across the sea, the last surviving members of the previously deposed ruling family, the Targaryens, are also plotting a return to power. The conflict between these families and others, including the Greyjoys, the Tullys, the Arryns, and the Tyrells, leads to war. Meanwhile, in the north, an ancient evil awakens. Amidst war and the political confusion, a brotherhood of misfits, The Night's Watch, is all that stands between the realms of men and the horrors beyond.

Pročitao sve knjige. Smile
Jučer smo Patuljak, Kharadrim, Tyka, ja i još neka ekipa bili na premijeri serije... Pogledali smo prve dvije epizode. Neke stvari bih možda malo drukčije napravio i neke stvari sam drukčije zamišljao, ali sve u svemu, jako dobro. Vrlo ambiciozno, bogata produkcija, uglavnom odličan casting i tako. Zid je savršeno napravljen. Lijepo je vidjeti oživotvorenje Martinove vizije i imaginacije.

Prve tri sam zasad pogledao... Dothrakije sam zamišljao malo drukčije, očekivao sam da će Cat Stark biti mrvicu mlađa i zgodnija, ali sve u svemu, to su sitne zamjerke.

Koliko vidim zasad i prema prvim komentarima, ljudi koji nisu pročitali knjige uživaju u seriji, a ljudi koji su pročitali knjige traže što je sve drukčije u odnosu na knjigu. Što je po meni pogrešno. Serija i knjiga su dva različita medija, i ne možeš skroz ukalupiti jedan u drugi. Naravno da se neće obrađivati svi događaji koji su prikazani u knjizi i naravno da će se stvari malo ubrzati za lijenu televizijsku publiku i široke mase. I to je okej.

Ja sam knjige pročitao poprilično davno, kad su izašle, i ne sjećam se je li neka rečenica koju lik izgovara bila u knjizi ili nije. I uopće se ne opterećujem s time. Sve u svemu, dobra serija.

mali patuljak... u knjizi je bio legenda...
a ovaj glumac ga je predobro skinuo... i previse predobro Very Happy
cak mi i ovaj sto glumi johna snowa... odlicno...
i daenerys odlicna gluma...
serija stvarno na nivou Smile
